Review (contains spoilers):
This is an incredible show. I usually will section TV reviews by season but that isn’t necessarily needed for this show as it is a variety show. Every episode kind of follows the same format: Kermit introduces the guest star, they will get the chance to sing/perform throughout the show, other Muppets have different sketch segments, Statler and Waldorf yell at everyone…its great fun.
Watch this with your kids as it is family friendly BUT do note that it was made in the 1970s so the standards of what was “appropriate” was different, however, I would let my kids and the kiddos I nanny watch this show with me. For the most part the innuendos and other adult things will go over the heads of little ones. They will love the music and the colors, you will love the jokes. One of the best things ever done with the Muppets.
