REPOST: Freddie’s Final Concert Line Up

Here is how Queen’s final performance with Freddie Mercury played out. If you would like to listen you can go to our Spotify page for both the Freddie’s Final Concert playlist (listen without shuffle to follow along) as well as our choices for Queen’s Greatest Hits which include the final songs that Mercury ever wrote as well as the chart topping hits of Queen throughout their career!

One Vision

Tie Your Mother Down

In the Lap of the Gods… Revisited

Seven Seas of Rhye

Tear It Up

A Kind of Magic

Freddie’s Vocal Improv— there isn’t a lot of good recordings of this so it is not on our Spotify playlist

Under Pressure

Another One Bites the Dust

Who Wants to Live Forever

I Want to Break Free

Impromptu— this was a live creation that showcased Freddy’s vocals as well as the fact that the band was amazingly tight and able to create on the fly. Again, there isn’t a lot of great audio of this so it isn’t included in the Spotify playlist

Guitar Solo— Brian May’s turn to rock out and showcase his awesome skills (which are still pretty amazing). This is not included on the Spotify Playlist.

Now I’m Here

Love of My Life

Is This the World We Created…?

You’re So Square (I Don’t Care), Hello Mary Lou, and Tutti Frutti— Freddy rocking a set of vintage 50’s rock and roll songs. This was traditional for the band to show how well they could build music on the fly but also create amazing tribute to the music that came before them… I can not find a good audio of this so it is not on the Spotify Playlist.

Bohemian Rhapsody

Hammer to Fall

Crazy Little Thing Called Love

Encore 1: Radio Ga Ga

Encore 2: We Will Rock You

Friends Will Be Friends

We Are the Champions

God Save the Queen

If you would like to listen to Freddie’s final concert with Queen, below is the Spotify playlist that I have created with the songs in order (as long as you listen on normal mode and not on shuffle!):

The Best of Queen (I like to listen to this one on shuffle):
